What is merchandise consolidation?
When you purchase from GoBamba trader, you’re buying directly from manufacturers all across Mexico (note that 70% of our product comes near or within Guadalajara).Before we are able to ship to your location we need to consolidate all the merchandise in our warehouses to check quality, order fulfillment and subsequently to tag the merchandise and palletize or “bulk” package (if applicable for full truckloads) your shipment. Our consolidation costs are as follows:
- Merchandise consolidation: Merchandise consolidation varies per shipment. The lower the number of product lines you have and the fewer the locations from where your items origin, the lower your merchandise consolidation fees. We have warehouses in Guadalajara and in Monterrey; Mexico. Nanus Workshop products have no consolidation fees if shipping out from Guadalajara as it is shipped out from our own premises .“Gardens of Steel” is consolidated in Laredo, TX and has a $200 fix fee for truck stop and merchandise uploading regardless of purchase volume or $0 Consolidation Fees if ordering only Gardens of Steel products.
- Estimated costs are as follows:
- Within Guadalajara - $33.00 per 16 Ft. truckload capacity per product line + $7 USD per supplier stop. Please note that each movement that has less than 16 Ft. capacity is subject to this same flat fee. Free consolidation costs for Gudalajara area for total orders over $5,000 USD.
- Dolores / San Miguel / Guanajuato - $5.00 per box or $650 for a 16 Ft. truckload to consolidation point
- North - $20.00 per box or a stop fee of $200 whichever is more beneficial for client;
- South (Example Oaxaca or Taxco): $40.00 per box
- Puebla Furniture: If you purchase only furniture we can ship directly from Puebla to your destination and have no consolidation fees. If consolidating furniture a truck stop has a $850.00 fee – If less than a truck is needed we’ll determine if it is better to do a truck stop or ship a smaller truck to consolidate and reduce maximum consolidation fee of $850.00
- Overweight items (for example “cantera” line 114) might have additional charges than our fees shown above.
Supplier Packaging: Before we palletize or “bulk” package (if applicable for full truckloads), some merchandise might be needed to be packaged before recollection of merchandise to consolidation cost. This varies depending on the type of merchandise and supplier’s location and usually suppliers might charge around 3% to 5% of the product value. This cost is transferred directly to our clients.
Other Vendor Consolidation Fee: If you want us to consolidate merchandise from vendors not in our catalog please let us know. We charge a 10% Purchase comission that includes payment management. This option is only applicable for suppliers in the Guadalajara region. Packaging fees not included.
